Juvenile Courts have jurisdiction over matters involving children under 18 years of age that have been accused of breaking the law, or whose parents cannot care for them, or whose behavior puts them at risk or in need of services. Juvenile Courts also have jurisdiction over Paternity Actions for children born out of wedlock. The Honorable Dennis Humphrey and the Honorable Terry Stevens preside over Juvenile Court in Roane County. Juvenile Court matters are heard on Mondays.
